I once left a lucrative career because of lack facts in making decisions. May be you have seen the employers that normally reward employees who make the most noise.

They ignore the facts of those who are scientific, those who use facts (data) and experience in their job.

This happens all the time especially if you are NOT politically correct. Thinking or proper use of data is usually thwarted in such cases.
